Teaching Artist: Ginger Smith

In this course students learn the creative and technical aspects of digital photography using either a digital camera or a camera on their mobile device. They learn the basics of photo editing in both Adobe Lightroom, a free app, and the editing software in the camera app on their mobile device. Students will have the opportunity to express themselves through the medium and build confidence in their ability to create, whether their goals are to build their brand on social media or post unforgettable images from their travels. The course addresses aesthetic principles as they relate to composition, space, exposure, light, and color and shares specific techniques to make their photos look more professional and engaging. Instructor Ginger Smith combines a photography background spanning 20 years to share practical tools that will allow your images to truly shine and meet your goals.

Please note, if you choose to use the "payment by check" option, that checks are accepted only during the first 4 weeks of registration and the check payment option expires two weeks prior to the start of each class. Checks must be received two weeks prior to the start date for completion of registration in order to be added to the class roster. Registrations will be cancelled if payments are not received prior to these deadlines.
