Teaching Artist: Ilya Lerner

Learn to transform favorite photographs of your pets into artwork! We will go through all stages of making a painting, from compositional sketches to finished piece, and study main principles and methods of general and portrait painting as applied to animals. Students will learn how to select and work with reference material, draw and paint studies and finalize an accomplished piece. Any painting/drawing medium, oils recommended. Course is open for painters of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced.

Please note, if you choose to use the "payment by check" option, that checks are accepted only during the first 4 weeks of registration and the check payment option expires two weeks prior to the start of each class. Checks must be received two weeks prior to the start date for completion of registration in order to be added to the class roster. Registrations will be cancelled if payments are not received prior to these deadlines.
