Kon'nichiwa! Enrich your child’s creativity with influence from Japan. Artists will use ink blocks and calligraphy brushes to create a bamboo painting, as well as many other types of projects including shibori fabric dyeing; chigiri-e torn paper collage, kintsugi air clay bowls, mended with gold glue and more! Positive peer reviews and other projects may be offered, as time permits. All material fees are included.

Prerequisite: Students as young as 8 may register for this class if they meet the following criteria: Techniques focus on slower, intentional movements using a brush, scissors, and other materials. Students should be able to remain seated and not rush through their work.
