Come make Books of various shapes, sizes and styles! Create original illustrations for some and leave some as blank books/ scrap books. We will explore Accordion Fold Books, Hand Sewn Bindings, Board Books, Folded Books, and many other methods. We will add hard board covers to our sewn binding books and cover and decorate them with beautiful papers and original stamped designs. We will create illustrations for small board books using short poems or other short writings and use computer layouts to print the text and learn to transfer it onto our pages. Knowing how to create your own book is a wonderful experience and will give hours of enjoyment during our week and ever after! All materials are included.
