Creative and Fun Summer Art Camps

for children ages 5-16

Click here for a complete listing of our summer camps or view each camp individually through our 2024 Summer Camp Calendar.

Before registering for your first camp you must create a free 2024 SUMMER CAMP MEMBERSHIP for each camper. After you create a new membership, you will receive an email with login information which includes your password. Login to your account and then you can register for individual camps. Please DO NOT try to log into the website using last year's information.

Creating a new membership each year ensures we have the most up-to-date information for your child. Please note when creating a membership for an additional child the registration software will require a different email address to be used. If you do not have a 2nd email address to use or are having trouble creating a membership, see our FAQs at the bottom of this page.

AOY Art Center is committed to the safety of your child/ren and our instructors. Please review our COVID-19 Policy. Please note that the AOY Art Center is in the historic 1837 Janney House and the facility is not fully ADA accessible.

Campers can choose from over 70 amazing camps including drawing, painting, sculpting, printmaking, sewing, illustrating stories, fashion designing, jewelry making, cupcake decorating, graphic design, origami and so much more! Children receive individualized instruction from professional teaching artists. Prices range from $150 (3-day camps) to $240 per camp, depending on the camp selected. All material fees are included in the price. Camps are held at AOY Art Center, on the beautiful Patterson Farm, located in Lower Makefield, just off the I-295/Rt. 332 Newtown/Yardley interchange.

Camps are half days, mornings or afternoons, with new camps offered each week. Weekly campers enrolled in both a morning and afternoon session enjoy a free, supervised hour during lunchtime. During this time campers can participate in supervised games and creative activities. Please send a bag lunch (peanut-free) with each child.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can’t I register my child for a camp? You have to create a (free) 2024 Summer Camp Membership for your child before you can register the child for camp(s).

What do I do after I create a membership for my child? Check the email the used to register your child for your password. You will need to log into your account using your email and that password. Then you should be able to register for the desired camp(s).

I understand that each membership needs a unique email address but I only have one email. How can I create an additional summer camp membership for another child in my family? If you have only one email address then you may register the additional child/ren for a camp through the first child’s summer camp membership. After you register the additional child then send an email to admin@aoyarts.org and provide the following information for the additional child/ren: child’s name, age at start of camp, allergy information and medical information. We will assume that the rest of the information contained in the membership will apply to all children in the family, i.e. emergency contact, authorized people to pick up your children.

What should I send with my child to camp? Campers should bring a water bottle, a peanut-free snack and beach towel to sit on during snack time. Art can be messy so we recommend sending along a smock or having your child wear old clothes where a little bit of paint won’t matter.

Still have questions? Email Maureen Kyle at admin@aoyarts.org.
