Have you ever wondered how Walt Disney created the perfect character in Mickey Mouse? Who decided the Hulk should be a muscular green monster in purple shorts? In 5 days we will explore techniques used by artists to develop some of the most beloved characters of all time. From fantasy, to sci fi, to animals who can walk and talk, students will take their characters from simple sketches to highly developed drawings in color with amazing back stories and big personalities. Supplies will be provided but campers are encouraged to bring any materials they have at home that they would like to be instructed in how to use, including digital equipment like drawing tablets. All material fees are included in the price.
