Teaching Artist: George Apotsos

Paint from your imagination in this beginners class for first time painters and experienced artists. Participate in fun filled exercises that explore free association in objects and images that help narrate a story, idea or theme. Use a dream or life experiences and learn how to best arrange your images so when seen together are cohesive and comprehensible. Improve your mixing and painting skills by observing hands-on painting techniques and demonstrations by your instructor. This is primarily an acrylic painting class but collage and photomontage will be utilized. Oil painters are welcome. Art material will be provided for early classes but the majority of art supplies are the responsibility of the student and a list will be sent one week prior to the start of class.
