Abstract art is one of the top picks for young artists to explore their creativity and freedom of expression without the use of objects. Called the First Art Movement in America this workshop will learn how pioneering abstract artists Mark Rothko and Jackson Pollock manipulated color, composition and texture in their artwork to achieve an emotional response from the viewer. This is primarily a painting class but the class will experiment in collage and sculpture. All material fees are included.
