Music and visual art have always had a long standing relationship that speaks to the soul. Children, like artists, are drawn to music. It is freeing and a great inspiration for expression, as well as for the subject of their artwork. In this camp, students will learn about Cubist art and create artworks inspired by this movement. They will be introduced to master artists Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque who used music as an integral part of their subject matter. Students will draw, paint, and collage as well as sculpt using corrugated cardboard. Join us this summer for a musical journey of unique art making. All material fees are included.
